Material Handler/Warehouse Associates

Provenance Recruitment & Staffing is currently seeking Material Handlers and Warehouse Associates for a manufacturing company located in Anderson, SC. This is a physically active warehouse role supporting the final stage of operations by pulling, moving, and loading rolls of fabric.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for preparing materials for outbound shipments, including pulling and loading rolls of fabric, maintaining accurate order fulfillment, and following established warehouse and safety procedures. New employees will begin with basic warehouse responsibilities and may progress to more advanced duties, including operating forklifts and high-reach powered industrial trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely pull, move, and load rolls of fabric for outbound shipments
  • Perform repetitive heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs using a two-person lift process when required
  • Accurately fulfill customer orders and maintain shipment records
  • Learn and perform basic warehouse tasks and procedures
  • Progress to advanced material handling duties, including forklift and high-reach powered industrial truck operation
  • Follow all established safety procedures and equipment guidelines
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform physically demanding tasks throughout the entire shift

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred
  • At least 1 year of warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to repeatedly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, bend, squat, lift, and reach overhead for up to 8 hours
  • Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
  • Comfortable working at heights greater than 25 feet
  • Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and positive attitude
  • Willingness and ability to learn new tasks and equipment operation
  • Ability to safely follow written and verbal instructions

Pay: $17.12 – $20.42/hr
