Provenance Recruitment and Staffing is currently seeking a House Manager to oversee the daily operations of a Community Training Home for a local organization serving individuals with disabilities and special needs in Liberty, SC. This is a full-time leadership position.
Job Summary:
The House Manager is responsible for the overall operation of an assigned Community Training Home, including staff supervision, scheduling, training, documentation, consumer services, budgeting, and facility coordination. This position works closely with individuals served, families, staff, healthcare providers, and other professional team members to ensure quality residential services and person-directed outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills and be comfortable balancing administrative responsibilities with hands-on support in a residential environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall daily operation of an assigned Community Training Home
• Supervise residential staff and complete annual employee evaluations
• Prepare and maintain employee schedules and monitor and approve staff timecards
• Coordinate staff orientation, training, supervision, and performance evaluations
• Maintain staff records, including schedules, required in-service training, annual physicals, and PPD documentation
• Complete and maintain required residential assessments, plans, amendments, and related documentation
• Monitor ISP data and other required documentation in Therap for completion and accuracy
• Maintain documentation related to supervision, active treatment programs, attendance, accountabilities, and other residential services
• Monitor services, programs, activities, and support provided to individuals served
• Coordinate annual, 30-day, and special staffing meetings with interdisciplinary team members
• Coordinate services and support based on each individual’s needs and person-directed goals
• Assist with preparing and adhering to the annual residential budget
• Monitor individual financial plans, cash logs, cash boxes, purchases, receipts, checkbooks, and bill payments
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and special reports as required
• Coordinate transportation to and from medical appointments and other necessary services
• Contact physicians regarding orders, appointments, treatments, and other healthcare needs
• Assist with medication administration and accurately document medications in the Medication Administration Record (MAR)
• Review behavioral data collection documentation and ensure required information is completed by staff
• Monitor vehicle logs and coordinate routine vehicle inspections and maintenance
• Submit work orders and coordinate repairs for the residential facility
• Provide training and guidance to Direct Support Professionals
• Ensure compliance with applicable residential licensing standards, policies, regulations, and procedures
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license with a good driving record
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership and staff-supervision abilities
• Excellent organizational, scheduling, and time-management skills
• Ability to supervise, train, and evaluate employees
• Computer and data-entry skills for documentation and reporting
• Basic mathematical and budgeting skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with applicable policies and residential standards
Work Location: In person – Liberty, SC
Job Type: Full-time, direct hire
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; on-call as needed
Pay: $18/hr
