Service Technician Position
Duties
Diagnose issues and problems with warranty return batteries.
- test incoming and outgoing batteries
- test diagnostics of batteries
- drain and charge batteries
- log battery tests
Repair warranty return batteries
- open batteries to diagnose problems
- disconnect and connect circuit board leads
- replace circuit board and leads
- replace lids and cases of batteries
- retest batteries
- email and communicate updates
- maintain inventory of repair parts
Assemble battery terminal adaptors
- tap holes with tap and drill
- spray paint
- assemble threaded studs in plates
- tighten studs with jam nuts
- box terminals for shipment
Assemble battery tray kits
- cut tray liners to size using templates
- bag screws in bags
Customer service calls
- help answer customer’s service questions
- help customer work through product issues
- help customer through warranty process
Help with shipping
- help with unloading containers, loading ups trucks
- lift and load boxes
- forklift experience
