Production Operator

Provenance Recruitment & Staffing is currently seeking Production Operators for a manufacturing facility located in Liberty, SC. Open positions may include Machine Operators, Finishing Operators, Die Cast Operators, and Material Handlers. This is a full-time position in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for performing finishing and fettling operations on aluminum die cast parts using a variety of hand tools and equipment. Operators will follow established work instructions and customer requirements while inspecting finished parts for defects, meeting production expectations, and maintaining a safe and organized work area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform fettling and finishing operations on aluminum die cast parts according to work instructions
  • Use the appropriate tools and equipment to complete assigned production tasks
  • Inspect castings for defects and ensure parts meet established quality requirements
  • Handle and package castings using bulk or layer-pack methods as required
  • Meet established minimum production requirements
  • Report production, equipment, or quality concerns to the supervisor or foreman
  • Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist in other production and manufacturing areas as needed
  • Follow all established work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently without close supervision
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions
  • Ability to stand for several hours at a time
  • Ability to bend, twist, and reach repeatedly throughout an 8-hour shift
  • Ability to push and pull large containers using appropriate assisting equipment
  • Reliable transportation to Liberty, SC

Work Location: In person – Liberty, SC
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 hour shifts, some Saturdays required
Pay: $16.00 – $17.50/hr., based on position and shift
