Residential Coordinator
Provenance Recruitment and Staffing is currently seeking a Residential Coordinator for a local organization serving individuals with disabilities and special needs in Liberty, SC. This is a full-time leadership and coordination role responsible for assisting the Residential Director with the development, operation, and oversight of residential facilities and services.
Job Summary:
The Residential Coordinator assists with coordinating and directing residential services to ensure individuals receive appropriate support in healthy, safe, and person-directed environments. This position oversees service delivery, monitors individual progress, supports and trains residential staff, completes required reporting, and works closely with House Managers to address the needs of individuals served.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills and be comfortable working independently while supervising and coordinating the work of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and direct the overall delivery of services for individuals residing in residential facilities
• Monitor individual training and progress to ensure appropriate active treatment and support are being provided
• Coordinate staff training with the appropriate training personnel and provide in-service training when needed
• Complete required monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
• Serve in an on-call capacity for emergencies as determined by the Residential Director
• Evaluate residential placements to ensure individuals receive adequate support in a healthy and safe environment
• Meet quarterly with House Managers to discuss and determine the needs of individuals served
• Assist House Managers with habilitation plans, assessments, training needs, and individual supports
• Complete monthly reviews of individual training and services
• Review individual financial reports quarterly to ensure funds are being spent appropriately
• Coordinate internal and external resources to meet residential facility needs
• Promote person-directed outcomes, self-determination, individual choice, and self-advocacy
• Help individuals develop and maintain relationships with friends, family, neighbors, social groups, and the community
• Remain alert and responsive to health and safety concerns
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Residential Director
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Valid South Carolina driver’s license with a good driving record
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational, leadership, and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to supervise and effectively work with residential staff
• Professional demeanor when interacting with individuals served, families, staff, and community partners
• Ability to coordinate internal and external resources to meet residential needs
• Ability to complete reports, data entry, and basic budgeting-related calculations
• Computer proficiency and ability to maintain accurate documentation
• Ability to organize work and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines
• Ability to exercise sound judgment and individual discretion during crisis situations
• Willingness and ability to complete all required position-specific training
Work Location: In person – Liberty, SC
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday – Thursday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM (approximately 38 hours per week)
Pay: $22 – $24/hr
